Receiving and logging access credentials
Keys, fobs and codes are logged when they are handed over, recording who holds them and for how long, rather than passing them casually between operatives. Alarm codes are treated as confidential and not written down anywhere accessible to people outside the crew responsible for that job.
- Access credentials logged on handover with a named holder
- Alarm codes kept confidential to the operatives actually using them
- Keys returned and logged at the end of the access period, not left in a van
