Do we need to move out while you decorate?
No. We work room by room so the household keeps a kitchen, a bathroom and somewhere to sit, and everything is sheeted and cleared down at the end of each day.
How far ahead do you book?
Private work is usually booked a few weeks ahead so the whole job runs in one continuous stretch rather than in stops and starts around other jobs.
Can you help choose colours?
Yes. We will bring the finish options, talk through how a colour behaves in the light that room actually gets, and put sample patches up before committing.
Do you tidy up each day?
Yes. Sheets stay down, tools go away, and the house is left liveable every evening rather than only at the end of the job.
Is the team employed or subcontracted?
Employed. The same decorators are in your home from start to finish, and we are fully insured with over 20 years in the trade.

Hallways, stairs and landings
Hallway decorating takes the most wear in a house and usually the most access planning: tall stairwells need platforms or towers that sit safely on the stairs, and the space is the only route through the home. We stage the work so you can still get upstairs, use a durable wipeable finish on walls that take bags, bikes and hands, and finish banisters and doors in the same visit. Ceiling painting
Ceilings show every patch and roller line in raking light from windows. They are filled, sanded and given a stain-blocking primer where there are old water marks before a flat, even finish goes on. On large or high ceilings, spraying can give a smoother result than rolling, with the room fully masked first.
Feature walls and wallpaper
A single painted or papered feature wall is an easy way to add colour without committing a whole room. We sample colours in the light the room actually gets, and hang wallpaper where a pattern suits better than paint.
Period homes and lime plaster
Older houses with lime plaster need breathable paints. Sealing lime under modern vinyl emulsion can trap moisture, leading to flaking and damp patches. We identify the surface before choosing a product so period walls are decorated in a way that suits how they were built.
