Deciding whether the radiator comes off
Removing a radiator gives access to paint the wall and skirting behind it properly, and to finish the radiator itself on a bench rather than in an awkward, cramped position. It is not always necessary or worth the extra time and plumbing coordination, so we assess case by case rather than defaulting to either approach.
- Radiators removed and refitted only where genuinely necessary or requested
- Where left in place, radiators are pulled forward on their brackets where possible
- Any plumbing work needed to remove a radiator agreed with the homeowner first
