Snagging and handover for decoration
Decoration is usually the last trade on site, which means it inherits everyone else's damage and gets blamed for it. A structured snagging pass protects both sides.
Pre-handover inspection
We walk the areas under the same lighting the client will inspect under, list defects and mark them up before anyone else does.
Separating damage from defects
A roller mark is ours; a trolley gouge from a following trade is not. Recording the difference honestly at the time avoids arguments at final account.
Closing out efficiently
Snags are closed in planned passes rather than repeated single visits, which keeps disruption down and gets the sign-off through faster.
Handover information
Colour references, product data and any recommended maintenance are handed over so the client's team can touch up correctly later.
