Access planning for high-level decorating
Access is often the largest single cost on an exterior or atrium job, and the decision drives the programme. Getting it right early avoids paying twice.
Fixed scaffold
Best where the work is extensive, the elevation is complex, or preparation is heavy. It costs more to erect but gives safe, continuous working access for the duration.
Mobile towers
Efficient for stairwells, moderate heights and interior high-level work where the tower can be repositioned safely on level ground.
Powered access
MEWPs suit short-duration high-level work with good ground conditions and clear access. Hire duration is the main cost driver, so the programme has to be tight.
Coordinating access with the programme
Preparation, coating and drying all have to fit inside the access period. We sequence works so the scaffold or hire isn't standing idle waiting for weather.
